Privacy policy

Who we are

Vibezilla is a music bot operated by the application owner (the Discord user who created the app). It is not affiliated with Discord or YouTube.

What we collect

• Discord server (guild) IDs, so saved playlists stay per-server. Playlists are JSON on the host volume today; a Postgres store may replace that later. Caps: 40 playlists per server, 250 tracks each.
• The Discord user ID of whoever created a saved playlist.
• Playlist names, track titles, and public source URLs you save. That is not a hosted catalog.
• DJ seat (who is mixing) and the current EQ / filter / FX / tempo board, in memory for that server while the process is up.
• Command events and technical logs: command errors, stream failures, join/leave of servers. These rotate with the host process.
• How many servers the bot is in (a count). Guild names are not listed on the site.

We do not read message content. Slash commands only. Message Content Intent is off. We do not store voice audio, emails, or IP addresses on purpose. The host (for example Railway) may log connection metadata as part of running the service.

What we do not collect

• Private messages
• Member lists or presence
• Guild names on the public site
• Payment information
• Audio files — streams are fetched live and never persisted to disk, including YouTube audio. Built-in pads and SFX are original, not ripped hits

Why

To play music in the voice channel you asked for, to remember playlists you saved, to hold the DJ seat and mix while someone is in Lab, and to keep the bot running.

Sharing

We do not sell data. A play request is sent to the source you named so a stream can be resolved. We do not have a license from those platforms, and we do not advertise any platform as our catalog. Discord receives the voice packets the bot sends into the channel. If required by law, we may disclose what we have.

Retention

Saved playlists stay on the data volume until someone in that server deletes them with /playlist delete, or the operator wipes the volume. Kicking the bot does not automatically erase playlists (so they come back if you re-invite). In-memory queues (cap 200 tracks per server), the DJ seat, and EQ presets die when the process restarts.

Your choices

Use /playlist delete to drop a list. Kick or ban the bot to stop processing in that server. Contact the application owner to request deletion of a server’s stored playlists.

Children

The bot follows Discord’s minimum age. Do not invite it to servers that violate Discord’s policies regarding minors.
